Handmade Wing Chair Manufacturers

Originating from the 17th Century, the classic Wing chair is one of the earliest examples of a fully upholstered chair still available today. Thought to have been designed with Wings in order to capture heat from open fire places found in homes at the time. Updated by the Victorians to include sprung and cushioned seat bases in the 1800s, the Wing chair remains a desireable piece of furniture in many homes, studies and offices today.

Our Wing chair range is hand constructed in the UK using locally sourced, renewable materials. Each chair is fabricated using solid glued and dowelled hardwood frames, sprung and webbed, stuffed in durable flame retardent foams and upholstered in high quality leathers and fabrics. Finished with original polished nails and available with a selection of feet styles, colour and buttoning options, you can tailor your Wing chair range making it unique to you.
